When implementing Google+ page remember the contributor to the page must be a email address using your domain. Example: whirledpeas@whirledpeas.com. So your site domain is Whirled Peas - how nice. Your contributing email must be your whatever@whirledpeas.com. Your authoring will not work without following this rule.
